Starting with a brief introduction into the tragic death of George Floyd and moving onto the legality of protests and why these are important catalysts of change. Children will research using attached links some of the main arguments for or against protests and conclude in an in-class debate.

The inspirational story of Martyn Ashton world champion mountain bike trials rider who as a result of a biking accident is now paraplegic and restricted to a wheelchair and his journey back onto a bike. Also reflecting goal setting, keeping going after a set back, positive mental attitude, challenging stereotypes .
