This is a fully resourcedand differentiated Y9 SoW about conflict in the continent of Africa. Lessons include, Background to conflict, child soldiers, piracy, ivory trade and Virunga National.

Fully resourced and differentiated 2 part lesson about whether people should live near active volcanoes or not, based on an information carousel exercise looking at the pros and cons. Includes a scaffolded extended piece of writing based on their evidence. We use this with Y7 (probably higher abiliyt) but is appropriate for any KS3.
