Full 8 page booklet with supporting quizzes and technical drawings. Explores tools and materials for year 7. This project can be completed over a an 8 - 12 week period. This booklet takes the learner through practical activities using numeracy as it’s primary foundation. The unit develops knowledge and awareness of health and safety issues, model prototyping, planning and quality control measures. It allows students to gather and compare data to further support numeracy development. It also requires students to interpret technical drawings.

This folder should be used to scaffold the creation of student portfolios. It includes all sections of the design process with some examples and some instructions on how to complete the portfolio.
