Designed for A2 chemistry pupils to help them internalise the 'flags' in longer synthesis questions. Ideally used at the end of their journey of A-level organic chemistry. Could be used as card sort instead of a game. Or, start as a card sort and turn into a game. I recommend revising the functional groups for each homologous series and completing an organic pathways placemat before using this. If you'd like multiple sets, I recommend printing each set on a different coloured paper and laminating for future use. This takes time (literally hours), but is a resource that can easily be reused year after year. I'd also really appreciate any and all comments - good and constructive, preferably. :)
