This is my own version of the 5 minute lesson planner. Its pretty basic, but it does what needs to be done.

A worksheet that will guide students to working with the EM spectrum and getting used to working with frequency, wavelength and energy of a wave.

This booklet is a 6 page booklet that can be used either independently or in conjunction with a Chemical Changes SoW. There are many opportunities to practice skills that class teachers will have taught, and will allow students the space to practice skills they will need from the Chemical changes topic in AQA Each page is designed to give students the ability to practice new skills and have examples.

Useful for getting across the structure of the atom, more specifically electron configuration diagrams. It will also start to introduce the idea of electrons and loss or gain. The worksheet is meant to be used multiple times by a student, the idea is to print many of them in A5, and allow students to choose elements and work through the sheet using a periodic table. The lesson includes word fill activities, teaching, and a plenary at the end of the lesson. The ppt is bright and engaging, including animations for answers.

A powerpoint with various questions, and discussions. The lesson can target a variety of needs, from high to low ability, and also the effectivness of models in science. The model practiced by students: Each student has a coin, they share a coin in each hand while holding hands, or just touching the coins. There are limitations which are given in the powerpoint.

The first lesson of a series on forces, this covers what forces do, the basics of modelling forces on objects, and some exam application.

This lesson is allows you to go through various aspects of finite and renewable resources, with points for literacy, oracy, and independent work. Please look though the powerpoint as some of the further slides will need printing.
