This is a great revision resource to help students to start to revise and memorise the characters and themes in Macbeth.
Instructions:
Students write down as much information as possible in each segment on the clock. This could be information about the character, key moments in the play or key quotes.
Students then use the clock to help them with revision- spend 5 minutes looking at one section. Give the clock to someone else and recall as much as possible of the information from the segment that they have looked at WITHOUT LOOKING.
Repeat this for the other segments- this can be done on different days when the student has planned to do revision.
Students can come back and repeat the same segment days, weeks or months later to test how much information they have retained/ how much more they can remember!
Happy revising!
The resource is a collection of weekly tasks to help students with the transition to secondary English. Each week they develop a new skill and build their confidence to give them a head start and take away some of the worry that comes with transitioning.
Designed to be completed during the 6 weeks holiday or at the students own pace.
