Feed ‘Fred’ with these initial sound images made by me, using the Set 1, RWI sounds. Print, cut and laminate the pictures. Get your children (or create it yourself) to create pots/boxes/frogs that are seen as ‘Fred’ with a sound placed on the front. Let the children have a go at sorting the images by initial sound, placing them into the correct ‘Fred’.

A simple phonics game for number recognition and simple CVC words. I have used this with my Nursery class whilst having to teach online. The children choose a number, you (CT) click on it, then it takes you to a corresponding slide with a CVC word for them to read. Editable, so feel free to change and amend the numbers/words to suit the needs of your children.
