This is a complete unit of work that I use at the beginning of Year 2, as part of our topic called ‘All Aboard’, - yes, you’ve guessed it! - about trains. There is planning for seven sessions along with all the resources needed. In the planning, I refer to this book - George Stephenson, by Christine Moorcroft and Magnus Magnusson - but this is not needed to teach this particular unit.
