Types of molecules, bonds etc. I used this with my Year 12 OCR Biologists asan introductory lesson.

This is a resource aimed to cover OCR Biology A, but could be used with other specifications. Students should be able to complete the worksheet independently after a brief introduction.

These revision notes are tailored to the OCR Biology A specification, but may be of use to teachers of other specifications. I have included notes on each parts of the specification including links back to protein synthesis (from Module 2) and 2 past paper Qs with mark scheme. I hope you will find it useful with your classes and saves you time.

Here are 10 sets of keywords each one contains 20 definitions of keywords which the students must read and then complete the missing term. Each set is differentiated - one blank version and one with the first letter included as well as the answers. These terms are universal across all specifications. I am going to use them weekly with my Year 11 as we start to revise for the final exams

A set of revision notes I made for my students to summarise the main concepts and techniques tested in this unit. I tried to include enough diagrams to help their understanding. This is a practical way I hope your students will enjoy to investigate the allele and genotype frequencies over 5 generations using normal and chocolate cheerios to represent 'fish&' in a lake!
