Children are then given a starting point from which to continue creating tension with a clear success criteria. I&'ve also included a sheet of sentence starters which I give to my lower ability group and a word bank for my middle group. My children have always produced some really good writing from this. Planning and resources for The Bear and the Piano

A 3 to 4 week unit using David Litchfield's beautiful picture book 'The Bear and the Piano'. We taught in Year 2 but I am sure it can be adapted for other year groups. It wouldn't let me upload any more files so just to say in the last week we then went on to write our own versions of the story, which the kids loved; we had a skateboarding bunny and a cello playing owl. Hope it helps
