Music videos to develop reading comprehension skills. Every music video contains questions linked to vocabulary, inference, prediction, explanation, reasoning and summarising. By using videos for a source of developing comprehension skills, all children can access the learning at the same time. It does not matter whether you are a good reader or not, all children can access this. Whenever I have used these with my classes, they have thoroughly enjoyed them and engaged with the task throughout - quite often they will ask to watch the whole song again at the end without any pauses.
