A class game to teach students how different religions and cultures have different views on crime. The teacher will go through the presentation whilst students mark their answers on their own worksheet. I have used this for low level KS3 and KS4. A statement will appear on the board for each question relating to crime in different countries. Students have to decide whether they believe it is a crime or not a crime.

Range of top 10 lists which I have been using for lesson starters. I usually give the students 5 minutes to list the top 10 of each category before revealing the answers. 5 points are given if the answer is in the correct place in the list and 1 point if they identify the answer but in a different place. topics include: top 10 fizzy drinks sold in the UK top 10 dream jobs top 10 chocolate bars sold top 10 crimes in the UK plus more…
