Students are given a variety of theories that led to the extinction of dinosaurs - some more believable than others! I ran with the Aliens and tried to convince them it was right and we discussed how statements which support a theory are not necessarily evidence.
There is also a differentiated (using RAG) conclusion for the students to do in their books.
This was done for a Y8 class of boys.
Circuit work with P1 on the AQA GCSE Syllabus. The students were given this task at the end of the work on circuits.
I gave them very little guidance as a top set and they produced some wonderful work. May need a double lesson for students to make the circuits too!
