Following the AQA GCSE PE syllabus, this presentation covers the whole of chapter 5A- socio-cultural influences. The presentation explorers the differences between barriers to participation and stereotypes in a variety of athletes. This chapter covers disability sport, female participation, socio-economic status and ethnicity in sport. Youtube clips and newspaper articles have been included in the presentation throughout. Additional information has been incorporated into the slides.

These powerpoint slides are a dynamic and colourful way to drip feed key words to KS4 as well as facilitate KS3 to KS4 transition. Each week I place a different powerpoint slide on the PE office door and run a challenge among KS3 and KS4 as to who can remember the key word and the definition (AO1) they are also incorporated within our practical PE lessons.
