Through this lesson the children are able to explore where they get their own ideas of what Jesus looks like; to explore different representations of Jesus from different countries and to learn what evidence there is to support what Jesus really looked like. This presentation contains paired talk activities and opportunities to make notes on information learned. There are then two sets of differentiated worksheets with questions that the children can answer using their notes. I have tried to make the presentation slides as engaging as possible with maps and pictures. I have copied and pasted the worksheets into the slides so that you can show the children and work through any questions together if necessary. I have included a set of answers too. This lesson would also work really well when leaving work for a supply teacher as they will have all they need to teach the lesson. I am creating a set of presentation slides and work. The aim is for teachers to use the slides to teach the lesson with out little prior subject knowledge.
