This is a PowerPoint containing 10 different starters to be completed in the first 5 or 10 minutes of a lesson. They come complete with answers, but you may like to work through them on the board with the pupils.

These two Powerpoint Presentations can be used for any level. I use them for quick starters for Y7 through to Y11. They cover simple 2D shapes and 3D shapes. They can be easily adapted for symmetry, properties of shapes etc.

These notes and four exercises will allow you to teach BIDMAS to either KS3 or KS4 classes. It covers every aspect of the topic, including writing in brackets to make the given calculation correct.
