Nice Christmas lesson. Can be done under timed conditions for points for completing pictures or just as a challenge. I give bonus points for anyone who manages to make the square out of their pieces or another picture. Any tangram set can be used. Card or paper are fine but Ive made my own tangram sets out of carpet tiles so they can be nice and big and solid. For differentiation I tend to draw round whatever tangram set im using so it becomes a jigsaw outline. Or sometimes I just tell them the position of two pieces depending on the group. Merry Christmas!
