Section A text= Inspector calls Section B= Shrek Please note: on the Inspector calls questions, I havent altered the extracts used in the question, I have asked students to find their own extracts/ choose characters as part of the activities Week 1 task: Answer a section B 15 mark question with a timer (no help given) Week 2: Research upper class character in 1912 and then design costume, hair and makeup for all the characters in An Inspector calls. Week 3: Choose a scene from an Inspector calls and attempt the 12 mark lighting and sound question. Helpbox used to guide students through the question. Week 4: Focusing on vocal and movement terminology write a definition for each one and then choose a scene in the play and write in detail each characters use of voice and movement on a table. Week 5: Choose two scenes and attempt smaller questions. helpbox guides students how to achieve all marks. Students then upgrade a 6 mark Costume question to a 15 marker Week 6: Again attempting some smaller questions and practicing with 2 scenes of their choice.

Here is a Live Theatre Review booklet, focusing on Wonder.Land which is available on the National Theatre Online (free to all schools in the UK) and teaching students the basic of technical theatre and assessing their knowledge on what they have learnt. The resources include a booklet, which should be printed and given to each student, and worked through a 6 week period, whilst watching the production.
