Section A text= Inspector calls Section B= Shrek Please note: on the Inspector calls questions, I havent altered the extracts used in the question, I have asked students to find their own extracts/ choose characters as part of the activities Week 1 task: Answer a section B 15 mark question with a timer (no help given) Week 2: Research upper class character in 1912 and then design costume, hair and makeup for all the characters in An Inspector calls. Week 3: Choose a scene from an Inspector calls and attempt the 12 mark lighting and sound question. Helpbox used to guide students through the question. Week 4: Focusing on vocal and movement terminology write a definition for each one and then choose a scene in the play and write in detail each characters use of voice and movement on a table. Week 5: Choose two scenes and attempt smaller questions. helpbox guides students how to achieve all marks. Students then upgrade a 6 mark Costume question to a 15 marker Week 6: Again attempting some smaller questions and practicing with 2 scenes of their choice.

I have produced 3 papers for An Inspector Calls using exactly the same format as the papers already produced but just switching the names etc. I will be using for mocks etc I have tried to use key moments from the play. I used 2020 paper, 2022 and 2023

This is a great scheme of work to introduce and develop Drama skills and techniques, mainly aimed at Key Stage 3. I have used this with Year 7, 8 and 9, all of whom were highly engaged throughout. Here is a Live Theatre Review booklet, focusing on Wonder.Land which is available on the National Theatre Online (free to all schools in the UK) and teaching students the basic of technical theatre and assessing their knowledge on what they have learnt. The resources include a booklet, which should be printed and given to each student, and worked through a 6 week period, whilst watching the production. The booklet focuses on costume, set, lighting and sound with an assessment assessing knowledge at the end. Highly engaging and works really well. Please note: This is a booklet only.

Here we have a great scheme of work based around the Seven Deadly Sins, focusing on Drama skills and techniques. The scheme of work includes the following resources: Greed (still image) Gluttony (thought tracking) Anger (narration) Sloth (flashback) Pride (marking the moment) Assessment - 2 lessons (choice of Drama technique) This scheme has worked really well with Year 7, 8 and 9. This is a highly engaging scheme of work, based around the popular board game, Cluedo! The scheme of work is ready to teach, straight from the PowerPoints. The lessons include: Characters Thought tracking Multi-roling Cross cutting Storytelling Docudrama Also included is a PowerPoint on the Cluedo characters, and a resource for designing a costume.

This is a scheme of work, based on Theatre in Education (TiE). The PowerPoint covers a range of tasks, skill development and knowledge, to enhance student knowledge on this key style of theatre. The lessons cover devising around key themes and topics, developing a raft of different skills including characterisation and staging. Ready to teach from the PowerPoint.

A revision booklet guiding students through the paper starting with Section B and then guiding through Section A. Looking at key terminology, DNA original performance conditions, stage types, planning set for each location, acting question key terminology, costume recommendations for each character, lighting and sound terminology recap, planning lighting and sound for each location, rehearsal techniques, facts about DNA, 2020, 2021, 2022 smaller questions for students to complete. I used this in a revision session over Easter which students are using as a revision tool. Some answers highlighted in yellow 24 page booklet.
