PowerPoint created for my Year 3 class to write a diary entry from the point of view of a Roman. This was after they had done research about Roman life. Contains a spelling starter looking at suffixes and spelling patterns and success criteria and an example of the start of a diary.

Pokemon based representing numbers to 1000 worksheet. Looks at representing numbers using base 10 and part-whole models. Created for a child with ASD in my class who struggles to engage in Maths lessons. He really enjoyed it and stayed on task for the whole worksheet!

Created this for a KS2 assembly. Was very popular and the head really liked it. Hope it can be useful to somebody else- even if it is just a starting point.

A range of sentence starters and key phrases to use in a teacher application. These have been added to over the past 5 years. Every time I have sent an application, I have received an offer for interview. Split into sentence starters/stems and key phrases. Over a full page of A4 to help you start your application process. Created for Primary School applications but all phrases can be adapted to suit your application for any age range.

Notebook presentation for whole class input about 10 and 100 less (main focus 10 less). Used with a Year 3 class. Excellent varied fluency, looking at different representations and a reasoning question at the end. Counters and base 10 set for infinite cloning so you can discuss making the numbers with children and enforce place value.

Story mountain template for 2 abilities (one includes opening, climax and ending other includes opening, build up, climax, resolution and ending). Used daily with my Year 4 class a quick and helpful resource to help all abilities with story planning. Could be edited if your school use different terminology.

Cards for a child to hold up if they know the answer, need more time or do not know the answer and don’t want to be chosen. Primarily used with children with SEND who struggled to verbalise what they needed or put their hand up however they were beneficial for shy children etc too. Colour coded with images to support. Easily adaptable as needed.

Short PowerPoint exploring writing a poem from a structure with an example. Used with a Year 3 class. The children really enjoyed this.
