AQA CORE (B1, C1 and P1 revision activities students are to do for 10 minutes over 10 days e.g. Christmas or Easter holidays).

Students work in pairs or small groups with two dice. They roll the first dice and count across the bottom accordingly, then roll the second and count up the side. They then follow the instructions on the cell. Any feedback is much appreciated!

These postcards are for experienced staff and trainee teachers to have to help add to their teaching strategy repertoire. The postcards could be used at a teaching and learning meeting or club to promote a professional discussion about classroom strategies. I have included seven, and will publish more if there is an interest.

Visual hexagon tasks can also be used for: Starters- visual hooks; Plenaries – summarising learning in a lesson; Planning an essay – visual hexagons can be used to prepare students for a specific exam question; I give students an A5 size copy of the hexagon pattern so they can stick it in their exercise book and write next to it. They have to make connections with the images or a question you place with the images. See the example.
