A simple worksheet suitable for year 7 groups who have some knowledge of family vocab and can understand simple descriptions. It is also useful as a stimulus for getting students to begin writing their own descriptions of families, especially boys who loved writing about the Star Wars family, Family Guy, etc.
This is a straightforward “How to…” for creating an interesting and imaginative reading programme for your class. It is easy to administer, easy to assess and above all, will allow you to create something which is innovative and of real worth for your students.
