I have gone through the TSM, used the two model unit plans provided by the IBO itself, and integrated the information with a IB Chemistry textbook in order to write unit plans based on the two themes or strands of the NEW 2023 syllabus for everyone to use if they wish to save a lot of time planning and writing their own. There is a unit plan for each of: Structure 1 Structure 2 Structure 3 Reactivity 1 Reactivity 2 Reactivity 3 You can use them as is, or modify them as you see fit.

I teach a lot of ESL students. Korean, Japanese, Russian and Turkish. My students, parents and home tutors found these translations of the word lists provided by Exploring Science very useful for such students. They can they fix the word in their mind, and be more secure in associating a key word in English with the corresponding term in their language. Please note, they are imperfect. But my students have confirmed the translations are pretty good.

This worksheet uses a database online for students to search for materials and then choose the best fit materials for that specific purpose. It includes use of Smart Materials.
