Print out onto A3 and laminate, then place on desk in front of pupil as a place mat. Pupils A5 books fit in the central space and the words around the outside remind them of expectations, key words, spellings, etc. I found this very useful with a Year 5 class. circuit, bulb, electricity, switch, wire, cell, battery, gap, broken, incomplete,motor, buzzer, conductor, insulator, component, circuit diagram.

I use this with an experiment on electrical conductivity in solid salts and dissolved salts. A ppt based lesson plan for the OCR B5a unit but could be useful for any lesson on the skeletal system. I would probably include a practical looking at the difference in strength between hollow and solid tubes and a look at some insect exoskeletons e.g stick insects.
