A resource I developed for my class as an open ended activity. Numbers can be adjusted to provide more or less of a challenge if needed. Works on understanding of Roman numerals as well as area and perimeter. First upload so feedback would be really helpful :)

Maths Activity linking fractions, percentages and probability work with 18th century England topic or “The Highwayman” narrative poetry unit. Students take on the role of a highway gang leader going through the process of: Selecting Gang Members Scouting Robbery Locations Buying Special Equipment Undertaking the Robbery Itself Each activity covers areas of decimal, fraction, percentage and probability. Each activity is fully resourced and only requires a 6 sided dice to complete the remainder of the task. Activities rely on students to explain their thinking and make predictions about what will happen based on their choices. Hopefully, a fun activity bringing some rather boring elements of maths to life. Feedback much appreciated.
