A series of lessons focussing on drawing techniques related to sketching. Children look at pencil range, pressure and hyper-realist art. They then focus on dawing an eye, leading to drawing dragon eyes and finishing by creating clay sculpture of a dragon eye. We finish the topic creating pastel images of their clay sculptures. Some of the worksheets are not my own or have been adapted.

Guided reading tasks. Each week children will read one chapter with their class teacher then complete the follow up task (Field of white) which covers vocabulary/inference/summary etc questions. Later on in the week the children will need to read some of the text themselves then answer true/false questions to confirm understanding. Please leave feedback. I am also currently completing similar tasks for the Littlest Viking.
