‘I am Rosa Parks’ by Brad Meltzer , 1st person recount resources. Resources follow beginning with a model text based on Rosa being bullied as a child. Follow up grammar lessons, planning a recount of what happened on the bus in 1955, writing, editing then publishing a recount. I made these resources for an able Y2 group. Contains: a comprehension about the story an example informal letter model text with analysis on PowerPoint an example formal letter of complaint model text with analysis on PowerPoint key words for children to write their own versions of the letters Both letters focus on the main character recounting what happened with the hoverbike but in different ways.
