World cup 2010 Calendar to fill in

(10)
I made a whole calendar which can be completed by pupils while they watch the world cup matches. There are two versions : French and German. As a French native, I am 100% sure of the vocab for the French one, however if there is any mistake on the German version, feel free to tell !

GCSE Languages - Grid for Speaking Markscheme

These are 3 useful grids I created to mark the components of the New MFL GCSE Speaking Exam. The criteria are based on the AQA markschemes. This can help MFL teachers to mark while conducting the exam or during moderation. It can also be a useful tool when giving feedback to students. How to use the grids? 1. Role Play - write the score per task in each column and the overall score in the last column. 2. Photo card - Highlight the relevant boxes as the student speaks. 3. General Conversation - tick anytime the student uses the criteria listed. You will need to refer to the AQA criteria afterwards to decide on the marks to give.

Games and activities (templates for Notebook)

As I often use the same kind of activities on Notebook, I decided to create a series of ready-to-use templates so that people won't have to re-create the same things over and over. Basically, you choose any slide you are interested in , copy it and paste it on a new Notebook page. Then, add the elements relevant to the topic you are teaching. To make sure everybody understand how to use the templates, I have added some examples.... Enjoy ! (Battleships / speaking / reading / guess who)

Back to school revision for year 8

Lesson designed to brush up some of the vocab and expressions learnt in year 7. Most of the vocab used is from metro 1. Most of the answers to the activity must be 'rubbed off', meaning that you have to pass the brush on them to make them appear. Enjoy, kids love it and will think that you are a magician! :)

Guess what it is (Template for Notebook)

I have created 2 slides on Notebook which can be used as templates when you want to play 'Guess the picture'. What you need to do is to first insert the picture you want them to guess, then right-click on the picture; scroll down and select 'order', then select 'send at the back' so that the picture lies behind the squares. If you want to use more pictures, you only need to select 'clone the page' before inserting any picture. There are two versions : one to practise colours and one to practise numbers.... Enjoy !
