This is a comprehensive PowerPoint aimed at lower Key Stage 2 children to explain to them what a census is, and how it is used. It contains a brief history of the census, information about how the census was taken, how it has changed over the years and how it may change in the future. I created this resource to support my local history topic, to familiarise my class with the concept of the census, before showing them copies of census results from our village.
