This resource displays all the AQA Trilogy/Triples Maths for Chemistry calculations and some key analytical terms. It can be used as a poster in your class, in a PowerPoint presentation or just stick it into books. Students covering triples (Chemistry only) need to learn all the content. Higher Trilogy students should learn all the content except where Chemistry only (triples) is highlighted. Trilogy foundation students learn the content that is not highlighted with a CO or an H.

AQA Chemistry - Trilogy: ionic formula, acid+alkali, displacement, esters, metals, learning grids Slide 1 and 2 is a resource used for teaching ionic formula. Slide 3 and 4 is a resource used for teaching the reactions of acids with: metals, bases, alkalis, and metal carbonates. Slide 5 is a resource used for teaching displacement reactions. Slide 6 is used when teaching the reactions of carboxylic acids. Slide 7 is used when teaching the reactions of metals with halogens, acids, water, alcohols and oxygen. There is some clear extension work involved with certain aspects of this work. I like to print these grids back to back on A3 paper. We keep the grids in folders and use them as recall aids throughout the year. The resources can be used for both triple and combined students.
