A Level / GCSE activity for pupils in groups or pairs on KING LEAR - to be done before you start reading the play. The students are given a map of BRITAIN in 1605 and modern English versions of what all 3 daughters clearly state in response to Lear’s request. Once read they split the kingdom , using the map in their groups, give them 20 minutes and then have a class discussion.
