Posters to display the AQA Literature and Language GCSE Assessment Objectives.

A resource I found handy for LA students who were struggling to write about the reader in a detailed way. It takes the think/feel/understand structure and builds on it for the students.

Suitable for use with AQA GCSE Language Paper 1 based around Q1-4. It’s the opening of the novel, where Georgie meets Pennywise, and it has been edited to make it suitable for a teenage audience. It has some great moments of language for students to analyse and it should also engage them through the use of a scene that will be very familiar to them.

A poetry analysis mat for KS3/4 students to aid them when looking at any type of poem. It features a guide on how to approach the poem, a list of key techniques they might use, and also has a framework to aid them with writing a response to a question about the poem.
