A simple getting to know you task where children can draw or write their favourite things. The children can make it as simple or complex as they want or you want. I usually make into a book to keep in the classroom. I created this and have used it many times with a variety of year groups.

This resource can be used as a matching or sorting activity. I put all the cards face down and played a game of pairs. Children can say whether the sentence is active or passive when the cards are turned over.
