This activity can be used for practicing ' naming the organic compounds and classifying them into correct homologous series&'.Learners can work in small groups or pairs. Each group can be provided with a set of cards. Learners can sort out the compounds in correct homologous series (families) and then name each of the compounds using the IUPAC rules.
