Put up these problems around the room. Pupils can work independently, in pairs or groups to follow the trail. This powerpoint includes the sheets for pupils, the challenge cards and the answers. I used this with my year 6 class but it would also be suitable for years 4 and 5. I apologise for the mistakes in this, the first time that I posted this. I have now corrected them.

I have created these grammar worksheets and games to use with EAL pupils but they could be used by all pupils.

I used this treasure hunt for my year 6 class. It includes a mixture of 1 and 2 step problems relating to fractions and percentages. It also includes 1 non-verbal reasoning question. The treasure hunt cards can be edited to suit the topic or year group. Provide each group, pair or individual with an answer sheet and get each group to start in a different place.

4 worksheets I used for a yr 2 class. 1 and 2 step muliplication word problems. Based on the themes of dinosaurs and London. Also a set of array cards for LA pupils.

Cards with image of food, price and word. Can be used for a problems solving activity eg. how many shopping lists can you make that equal exactly £5? Very good for EAL. Could create own acitivities with them.

30 cards with names and pictures of various plants and animals - could be handed out to class and they must sort themselves into various catergories. Could also be used for environments or habitats.

This is a script for a Christian assembly about hope, rainbows and Nelson Mandela. I used it for my year 6 class to tie in with black history month.

A fun way to approach branching databases using Ricky Gervais's 'Flanimals' and biscuits! I used this for the year 6 topic Interdependence and Adaptation.

I used this with my Year 6 class, but it would also be suitable for year 5. Pupils must estimate the length and width of classroom objects and then measure to find actual lengths and widths, before calculating area and perimeter. This sheet is so that they can easily record their work.

These price lists can be used for KS2 problem solving in maths. I have used them with Year 5 and 6, in an activity where pupils have to design a playground. I gave the MA and Av pupils a £10000 budget and the LA a budget of £2000. But you could use them in whatever way you wish!

Lesson about the invention of the telephone. The worksheet then requires pupils to design a phone of the future. I used this as part of Scotland topic.

A worksheet that can be used with deines and online interactive number lines such as to assess pupils understanding of crossing 100s and tens boundaries. I used with a primary 3/2 class but appropriate for any pupil struggling with place value and number.
