It includes an overview and guided practice of all tasks included in the foundation and higher papers, tips and marking criteria. all answer sheets are available at the end of the presentation. students can work through the presentation independently or with the teacher. KS4 GCSE lesson to extend on topic of describing one’s personality, using vocabulary of star signs and star sign character traits. I usually get them to complete some of these activities in pairs/groups.

These 2 presentations are used as part of a sequence of lessons on the imperfect tense. It starts with an introduction to the imperfect tense where students are led/guided towards figuring out what the imperfect tense is used for. this always leads to really productive pair or group discussions between students and allows for a less teacher-led approach. resource 1 then moved on to practice activities with mini white-board, pair work etc… resource 2 is about putting this into practice within the context of describing what one used to be like when they were little, based on the STUDIO AQA unit.
