This mildly spooky ghost story forms an excellent basis for a year 6 reading comprehension which is also suitable for KS3. The powerpoint with superlarge writing is ideal for using for the whole class to read aloud together or for displaying while you read it to them. There is also a PDF for printing out so that children can read and answer the questions individually. This is a complete unit of work to teach perimeter. The PowerPoint and workbook are created from past exam questions. I have broken the exam questions down so that students try a one step problem first and then steps are added until the full exam question is undertaken. Before they try the exam questions, they have a go at skills check questions which test all the skills required to answer the question. This is part of a complete FS1 and FS2 set of powerpoints and workbooks that I have created for my students. The powerpoints are numbered because I build on previously learned skills. This powerpoint can be used with on-line students or for whole class teaching. The workbook can be used for in person teaching along side the powe point.
