A rota and resources for what I use every guided reading time. Split the children into small groups (identified by colour). Activities included: -Noughts and Crosses- pinched off somebody on here- thank you. Children have these printed off and they select their own activity. -Listening Station- Audio cds. -Non-Fiction Text- children select their own non-fiction text and complete the booklet (again needs to be printed off for them each) -Activity Cards- Children pick one of these out of a feely bag at the beginning of each session and complete. -Book Review- Complete sheet provided ( I print off a pack and leave them in a tray for them to help themselves) -Free Reading- children can pick any of the previous activities or just read quietly. They somehow think this is a real treat! Hope this saves somebody their weekend!

Aimed at year 4 but could be easily adapted. Looking at a variety of famous landscape artists. L.O's include developing perspective, texture, line and tone. Used in a Derby school so uses Derby landscapes, but again this could easily be changed.

I used this resource with a mixed Reception/Year 1 class looking at the natural materials that Andy Goldsworthy uses. It includes key questions that i asked the children about how he manipulates materials. The children enjoyed guessing what the materials might be, and it worked as a useful introduction to the artist.

I used this resource when introducing forces to a reception and year 1 class. The children absolutely loved the animations in the powerpoint. It was a great way to assess children's understanding of pushes and pulls. Afterwards we went into the hall and found different ways to move. We also used some &'wake and shake&'; songs to help us find different ways to move.

I used this as a whole class practise everyday. Includes slides to reinforce the Read Write Inc strategies of "Special Friends, Fred Talk, Blend" but this could easily be adapted for a different strategy (i.e Jolly Phonics) or simply deleted from the presentation.

A "fill in the missing sound" worksheet to reinforce the diagrpahs sh, ch and th. Easily adaptable for other sounds, or to make it more difficult by deleting the given letters.

A powerpoint and script that could easily be adapted and edited. Used with a class of year 3 but could suit lower and higher year groups. Also included some phases of the moon activities with Oreos that we included in our assembly.

A resource that could be used from EYFS to KS2 to have discussions about the upcoming coronation. Can be easily altered. Currently using Sassoon Primary font so if you don’t have that font it might need to be edited to a more suitable font.

Made for home learning the grapheme “qu”. Easy to edit as made in a microsoft word format. Includes a jolly phonics song extract, letter formation practise, blending and segmenting and a “qu bingo”. Originally intended to teach the qu sound in Reception, but could easily be edited for recapping in KS1.

A 5 - 6 Week medium term plan for P.E lessons in a superhero topic. Intended for a reception class but could easily be adpated for different ages.

A multiple choice homework/ worksheet which focuses on children recognising and applying 3 consonant blends. Used with higher ability Reception children but could easily be adapted.

A powerpoint presentation that allows the children to select the correct “ear” words from a selction. Encourages children to blend using phase 3 sounds.

Recapping the digraphs /ch/ /sh/ /th/ and /ng/ following the letters and sounds scheme. Intended for a Reception class that had already covered these digraphs during remote learning, however there were some children that had gaps in their learning.

4 days planning and resources to teach the trigraph /igh/ the digraph /oa/ and the tricky words we, me and be. Delivered to a Reception class, however could easily be adapted.
