This sheet will support students and teachers in crafting strong A level History essays (primarily for Edexcel) from the beginning of year 12. Each section of the essay is addressed, with descriptors ranging from the minimum to the ideal. There is additional stretching advice on style (based on Teaching History articles) as well as for source-based responses.
