A student booklet introducing students to Component 1 from an acting perspective This booklet introduces students to professionalism in the theatre before exploring 2 plays in preparation for Component 1. The plays can be interchanged to suit your setting. Each play explored covers a slightly different aspect of the component so by the end you have covered everything ready for your third and assessed play. Additional contents of the booklet include: Key vocabulary Writing frames Distinction extracts Please note, these are not lesson plans, these are student booklets. Therefore there are no direct instructions or timings. This leaves each lesson open to interpretation for the teacher, whilst still allowing flexibility in your own centre to adapt to suit your students. There are however questions posed at the start of each lesson and a starter/consolidation task to end.
