Fixed in Time Show

In 2026 our school wouldn’t pay the small fortune for the licence for a show so I decided to write one with the help of AI so we could still put on a show. The show was a huge success and we made money from it and I’d now like others to make money from it too. **Jax accidentally invents a machine which sends him and his three friends back in time. They work their way through the decades being chased my Agent Tick and Tock. Each has a special skill which helps fix issues in each decade. ** This show includes 2 original songs - made using Logic loops… one of which is sung at the start and end with slightly different lyrics, the other is about half way through the show. Other songs in the show are suggestions as they’re all famous songs like “Don’t Stop me Now” and “Shut up and Dance”. We checked them all with our school licencing and they were all OKed but if they’re not OKed in your area you’re welcome to swap them out. The whole point of this is that you can adapt it and change it to meet your needs. There are 13 scenes. Most are not vital to the overall storyline so can be cut if neccessary. Some have an acting focus, some have a dancing focus, some have a singing focus. There are lots of different parts which can be given to lots of different students or students can have multiple parts and appear in multiple scenes. Included in what you’re paying for is: Full Script with prompts for the tech team and staging suggestions. This is a word document which can be changed to suit your personal needs. Audition scene - an excerpt which has the main characters but isn’t actually in the final show Costume list Casting list Letter to Parents Production sign up sheet PowerPoint with projections for each scene Props List Images to print out to become props/Scenery Song and Dance List Speech to read to the audience before the show List of things to be given to the audience Sound Effects Original songs - examples and backing tracks

This resource has 2 files: An exam paper PowerPoint A4 portrait file with 2 questions per Area of Study. There are 8 questions in total and each are worth 12 marks. Mark scheme is included. A lesson PowerPoint to be shown on an interactive whiteboard with embedded YouTube clips for the music excerpts and answer slides so students can peer or self mark after each question. All of the excerpts are Christmas pieces. There are no set works questions. I would expect this to take at least 2 1 hour lessons including students peer or self marking. Would be great for a cover lessons. Tried and tested, my year 11 class enjoyed completing this paper on the run up to Christmas last year. There is a 10 mark question and a missing pitch question included. This paper uses the vocabulary needed for the Eduqas Music GCSE but as there are no set works questions it would probably be suitable for other exam board learners.

When asked to run a half term revision session I wanted to make it fun so I created this quiz. When I ran it, it took 2 hours. Could be used for revision lessons or cover. This resource includes: An A4 formatted PowerPoint with the handouts and teacher pack A widescreen formatted PowerPoint for the teacher to use to run the quiz. This includes embedded YouTube clips for the audio required. The quiz includes: A picture round 6 question rounds - one based on each Area of study and one on each set work A number question A listening round based on MADTSHIRTS A wipeout round as seen in pub quizzes! TOTAL 111 questions with answers When I ran the quiz I bought sweets, snacks and fruit and gave prizes to the winning team of each round. The leading team wiped out in the last round which meant the underdogs won the quiz. The students had organised themselves into teams of 3. They were super engaged, said it was the best revision session they’d had and they all left saying they’d learnt something.
