By printing the Power Point (Slides 1 to 8) you will have a booklet to prepare pupils for the FCSE French on the topic of holidays, I had designed it for Y9 pupils in 2012. It may be a bit outdated but you can adapt all slides. Note that slides 1, 6 and 8 are made of pictures of slides 12 to 16. There is a differentiated version. It includes texts in the present, past and future.

This lesson was originally planned for ESL students of level A1-A2. It can be adapted to native speakers (Y6). It includes speaking and writing activities based on the Hunger Games. The objective is to practise using adjectives. Activity: describing a town/city. Activity: using adjectives to describe people, emotions, etc. Including comparatives.

Resource: a rap song of the group Hocus Pocus. Level: top set Year 9, Y10. Topic: It's a song about the refusal of growing up and fatherhood. Here becoming a father means giving up on being a child and becoming responsible. Linguistic: idioms, vocabulary, the conditional tense. Skills: comprehension skills (listening)
