Towards the end of the year I decided to write a lesson based on a question one of the students raised regarding insect breathing mechanisms and how they differ to human mechanisms. This was taught to a top set year 7 class for an observation, and I have since used for other year groups.

Human Evolution lesson with lesson geared around student’s researching the different types of hominids and how they have evolved. Used at GCSE level.
