This is a first lesson for a Holocaust and Judaism Scheme of Work. This needs preparation before the lesson of the resources, as well as Jewish artefacts.

Used with year 7 as part of a thematic humanities subject

This has all of the topics of AQA AS Religion and Ethics. Each topic is presented on one page for easy access for the students. I have previously printed these to A3 and laminated them as mats for the students, as well as printed them to A4 as packs for them to take home. I hope you enjoy, and please leave a comment.

Taught to year 9 and 10 in the past - looks at pregnancy and considers different responses to when life could begin. This has been used ahead of lessons on abortion, and sanctity/quality/value of life

Lesson taught to year 7, to introduce them to the concepts of stewardship and dominion

Introduction to infant baptism and the role of godparents - taught to year 8

Used with year 9 and 10, so could be adapted. It covers David Hume, Maurice Wiles, Scepticism, and science.

Lead into a presentation assessment about inspirational people of faith. This was a popular assessment with the students, and was accessible to all.

Taught for many years to year 6 on their taster days. Well received each year. This looks at the concept of beliefs, and what they believe.
