Use monopoly money to explain the differences between communism, capitalism and socialism. Game One: everyone in the class gets radically different amounts of Monopoly money and they are asked to play rock, paper, scissors. If they run out of money, they can no longer pay. Game Two: The Monopoly money is distributed more evenly. If they run out of money during the game, they can receive up to Two extra notes. Game three: All money is taken away from the class. They are told to play, but can't because they have no money.

This lesson looks at events in the Indian Rebellion, particularly looking at the siege of Cawnpore, and compare British and Indian brutal actions. The lesson starts by the students looking at the Bengal tiger cartoon and inferring meaning. They then learn about the Indian and British actions and then go back to the cartoon to give contextual knowledge. The lesson then looks at short term and long term effects of the Indian Rebellion.
