This interactive writing notebook is perfect for adding a little extra fun to your writing lessons! I have compiled all of my interactive lessons and activities that I use to teach the Common Core Writing Standards to my fourth graders. This is an interactive Writing Notebook that is aligned to the 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th grade Common Core Writing Standards and I’ve also included the alignments in my sample. I use this notebook at the end of each year to ensure that my students have a working folder as evidence for my district that they have shown writing growth throughout the school year. This is my second set of ELA assessments for the holiday’s. These assessments/group activities will continue to help you prep your students for testing. This packet includes assessments for each week of December. There are four passages, each created by me, that include with five questions for each one. Each extended response or short answer question is labeled with ER or SA. Each passage is aligned to the 3rd and 4th grade ELA Common Core State Standards with a Christmas themed story written me. You can use these assessments for group activities, to practice techniques for answering test questions, or in any way you prefer.
