This resource is designed for A-Level students on the AQA English Literature B course to practise AO1 skills for the Paper 2 exam (Elements of Crime Writing). The resource includes a literary glossary for students to define key terms and keep as a handy revision guide, and a key theories tasks for students to use alongside information sheets about Sigmund Freud’s ‘Theory of the Unconscious’ and Jacques Lacan’s ‘Objet A’ (both of which are useful for band 4/5 students to apply, especially in Section A - Unseen extract). These theories are challenging and will really boost marks if understood by learners, and these information sheets break down the theories in ways that are accessible to those just beginning to look at critical theory.

Hope you find it helpful :)
