Caring for pets at home is an Entry Level 2 unit for BTEC Skills for Independence and work. I have based this workbook around caring for our three guinea pigs in the Hedgerows class John, Paul and Ringo. This unit can be adapted for use with other pets, but you will need to ensure feeding, grooming and health checks are adjusted to meet the needs of your chosen animal.
