Crossword: Common Poetic Forms is a fun A4 activity sheet designed to test, revise or consolidate pupils’ knowledge of common poetic forms such as ballad, elegy, sonnet, haiku and more.
The crossword contains 18 clues and should be able to complete it independently, with some pre-teaching on poetic form and structure. An answer sheet is included in a separate document. This resource is designed for KS4 pupils (14-16 year olds) in a secondary school English class.
