This resource is an accompaniment to my YouTube video, which discusses the basics of descriptive writing, including how to differentiate between descriptive and narrative essays, as well as how to incorporate high level techniques, punctuation and vocabulary in order to achieve top marks. It’s tailored towards students taking GCSEs - especially the AQA, Edexcel, WJEC and CIE exam boards - but it is also useful for teaching students a grounding in Creative Writing for A Level and beyond.
