Edexcel iGCSE Food Tests Reference Table

This reference table, showing the edexcel iGCSE biology food tests for starch, glucose, lipids and proteins, can be used for reference by students or printed for classroom displays. It includes the reagents used for each test, as well as diagrams showing positive and negative results.

How I use it:

• Print A5 copies for students to glue into their books and use for reference when learning about food tests and when doing practice questions from the Food and Digestion / Enzymes topics.
• I have an A3 printed copy near the board at the front of class. During revision classes, it is a handy visual reminder for students of how to test for each of the substances shown.
